Job Overview
The Creative Healing Group is a small group practice focused on bringing quality support and care to individuals, teens, couples, and groups. Our practice is hiring for an Associate Clinician with a desire to grow their therapeutic skills and learn more about private practice in a group setting with experienced supervision and training. Our style infuses psychodynamic therapy, CBT, mindfulness, and somatic awareness into practice.

Responsibilities and Duties:
-
Provide weekly psychotherapy to individuals, couples, teens, and families as appropriate, with a caseload of a minimum 10 clients - with the understanding it will take time to build a caseload. Associate has the option to increase caseload at Clinical Director’s discretion

Ability to work in a hybrid model of video telehealth therapy and in-person sessions (office in Albany); potential to work fully in-person should Associate desire

Own a personal computer or laptop to conduct telehealth video therapy and maintain confidential electronic documentation via SimplePractice
-
Have access to a private, personal space in home to conduct telehealth video therapy
-
Provide 15-minute initial phone consultations with prospective clients, as needed
-
Develop and document intake assessment for each client case
-
Develop a treatment plan for each client case
-
Provide community and adjunct resources to clients as appropriate and liaison with other health professionals as appropriate
-
Utilize SimplePractice platform for documentation and scheduling of sessions
-
Write process notes for each client in addition to progress notes for supervision and training purposes
-
Attend 1 hour of individual supervision and 1 to 2 hour of group supervision each week, to be adjusted according to caseload and BBS supervision requirements

Complete all progress notes promptly after each session
-
Bill each session at time of service and create superbills at the end of each month, as needed
-
Notify the supervisor immediately for any imminent concerns or crisis
-
Complete any required reading given as part of didactic group supervision
-
Prepare and present case presentations for learning and guidance purposes
-
Attend the required amount of CEUs for an associate level therapist and maintain updated registration status with the BBS
-
Be responsible for all required BBS paperwork to be signed and noted by the supervisor during training employment

Track weekly hours and submit them in a timely manner for prompt bi-weekly paycheck
Qualifications:
-
Masters/Graduate degree in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent field)
-
Registered and up-to-date with the BBS requirements for Associates
-
Licensed as an Associate Marriage & Family Therapist, Associate Clinical Social Worker, or Associate Professional Clinical Counselor

Have at least 1,000 hours of clinical experience

Some experience or interest in learning more about psychodynamic therapy, mindfulness practices, and other trauma-informed somatic-based awareness

Benefits:

Base wage of $15/hr + commission per client-facing hour (varies on experience ~$40-$70)
